RANCHO CUCAMONGA, California — November 4, 2026. Lynne B. Kennedy leads the five-candidate mayoral race in the city’s first full unofficial election-night report, with Oliver King in second place.
Results of the mayoral election
According to San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters Summary Report #5, the candidate totals are:
- Lynne B. Kennedy: 12,751 votes (38.36%).
- Oliver King: 11,308 (34.02%).
- Jaskirat Sondh: 3,368 (10.13%).
- Marjorie Hamada: 3,262 (9.81%).
- Michael R. Perez: 2,528 (7.60%).
Kennedy leads King by 1,443 votes in this snapshot. The report lists 36,304 voters casting ballots in the mayoral contest area, out of 112,079 registered voters, or 32.39%. Not everyone who cast a ballot necessarily selected a mayoral candidate.
Other city contests
In City Council District 2, DeJonae Marie Shaw received 2,211 votes and Kristine Scott 2,188, a difference of just 23 votes. The close council contest is already covered separately by Rancho Cucamonga News and should not be confused with the citywide mayoral result.
Still unofficial
All 114 of 114 precincts have reported for the mayor’s race, but that describes election-night precinct reports, not the completion of the ballot canvass. San Bernardino County schedules another results update for November 5 by 6 p.m. PT.
