RANCHO CUCAMONGA — November 2, 2026. Rancho Cucamonga Public Library operates a Library of Things collection that allows cardholders to borrow useful equipment rather than buying it.
What people can borrow
The city lists categories including cookware, gardening equipment, instruments, tabletop games, technology devices, tools, toys and wellness items. The exact catalog changes with holds, repairs and new acquisitions.
Loan terms
The library says most Library of Things items can be borrowed for three weeks and renewed up to three times if there are no holds. Some objects require a signed waiver from an adult borrower or caregiver.
Returns and pickup
Borrowers may place holds at Archibald or Biane Library, and certain items must be returned at the service desk or curbside table rather than a book-drop machine. The city says it does not accept donations of miscellaneous objects for this collection.
