Rancho Cucamonga Offers Four Free Bulky-Item Pickups Per Year Through Burrtec

RANCHO CUCAMONGA — November 2, 2026. Rancho Cucamonga’s municipal waste program gives eligible single-family residential accounts four no-extra-charge bulky-item pickup appointments per calendar year.

Which items can be collected

The city’s examples include furniture, appliances and televisions, while vehicle parts, construction debris and hazardous waste are explicitly excluded. The hauler can explain quantity and handling requirements.

Who provides collection

Rancho Cucamonga contracts with Burrtec Waste Industries as its exclusive municipal waste hauler. Residents can call 909-987-3717 to request a pickup and confirm the earliest possible collection date.

Avoid illegal setouts

A free service is not an invitation to place a sofa in the public street whenever convenient. Wait for appointment instructions, keep sidewalks accessible and ask where to take prohibited chemicals and other hazardous materials.
